Rating by category:
The room was small but clean. The beds were comfortable. It was in an excellent city centre location. The price was right. Excellent breakfast.
The shower was either stone cold or boiling hot. There was no lift.
No lift, uncomfortable bed, no temperature control, no heating in the bathroom, Shower took 10-min to get warm (not hot), No room-service but we weren't allowed to bring take away into room (100 pound fine! if you decided to do so), no mini-bar, Very small tv which didn't have amny channels and all adn some had very bad reception, hardly anywhere to set your toiletries in the bathroom. Very poor wifi connection which cost 10 pound per 24-hours. All in all room wasn't cosy or comfortable which meant our relaxing holiday was spent as much as possible away from the hotel.
Friendly and effective staff
I missed a lift. We had heavy luggage and our room was in third floor
Had a lovely stay, the bedroom was really nice and modern, staff helpful and friendly. Second time I have stayed at the Hotel and would stay again.
good location handy to shopping centre/s and to bus and train station and also to local transport
total lack of any information in room to assist visitors and no hot water which apparently is normal at weekends on upper floors. Staff tried to help with no success.
Very good location.
No car park, no hotel bar(just on the ground floor, which is open to the publicl), no hangers in the bath, even no bath gel, just a soap - this a 4* hotel, I doubt. Been to 3* better ones..
Staff was good, breakfast was good, and bed was comfortable,
The Executive Room was a basic double room. Apparently the Executive Rooms did not have heat and running hot water. My room had the running hot water but did not have heat. I only had enough heat because of my room being on the top floor. The internet was shut down overnight in spite of paying for 24 hour service.
room was cold no heating had to ask for a heater .bathroom walls dirty needs painted no parking had to pay £15.00 for parking food ok staff pleasant
the food and service was very good.
there was no lift,so would not be accessible for older people.did not read reviews.
Close to the railway station and city centre. Breakfast acceptable, check-in and check-out smooth and fast.
My room was very cold, heating not working so I was given an electric heater. No hot water, tv not working properly. The room was draughty due to the old fashioned window frames, and the decoration well past the best before date.
Location of hotel excellent. Lovely decor.
The busy bus stop outside the hotel made it difficult to get in/out of the hotel due to bus passengers stnding in the doorway. No reception area- desk only on first floor- meant there was no reception/seating area, I felt there was something missing from the hotel.
The room was huge and airy, the bathroom nicely done with separate shower and bath with massive space.
limited staff; room without emergency instructions; too noisy since it is close to the harbour! strange door inside the room from where it comes strange noises! and too much expensive.
It was very convienient for work and my room was kept very clean
it was in good position for shopping that´s about it.
there are no facilities for parking and given aberdeen is a nightmare for parking as it is, was a big downfall for the hotel.
